Holy shit she’s good. We hung by the door listening to their conversation but kept our backs to them so it wouldn’t be so obvious. I couldn’t believe my ears as I listened to her lead the conversation. She was so calm but not at all what I thought this was. She did feel bad for her but was in no way swayed by it. When she got right down to business with her, she didn’t pull any punches.

I shot a glance at Joker who grinned back at me, his head bobbing up and down appreciatively. “What do you say we go and see what else she knows?”

I nodded to him and the whole leadership went in once she’d finished dressing. Jazmine brought us all coffee. “I know it’s late but I can’t say it is likely any of us will be getting any sleep tonight. She set it on the table and came to stand next to me and I reached for her hips pulling her closer and kissing that sexy belly of hers.

Turning my eyes to Tessa I started with, “I guess you’re acquainted with my Old Lady already. She’s the only reason you’ve been treated as well as you have so you should thank her.’

“Thank you, Jazmine,” she recited.

“That is highness to you,” I barked.

Her eyebrows went up but nonetheless she said it. “Highness.”

O laughed loudly doubling over. Jazmine and VP both cuffed him in the head at the same time. Which only made Joker snort out a giggle.

I put my hand up and all joking ceased instantly. I smiled up at my beautiful woman and asked, “My Queen, can you ask Mama to make another pot, this one won’t make it two minutes.”

She leaned in to grab the pot and I grabbed her head pulling her to me for a long passionate kiss. The thought of playing tonsil hockey with an audience wasn’t entirely uncomfortable. A slight moan emerged into my mouth and I realized I should probably tone it back a bit releasing her. She smirked and turned to go. I smacked her ass and she squealed on the way out the door.

Once Jazmine left, I turned my look to Tessa and hardened it. The others followed suit and sat stoic waiting for me to question her. The fear in her eyes gave me some small satisfaction in retribution for what she’d done to our Princess.

My voice thundered when I commanded, “Tell us everything.”

“But I… Jazmine, she…”

I sat bobbing my head and narrowed my eyes at her, “Tell it again. What happened after we left you with them?”

“You left me?”

“You didn’t think you could ever be my Old Lady, did you? We knew you pushed her into the hall and that you’d been sending them notes before they raided us.”

She sighed and looked down, “You knew before we went for Jazmine.”

“We knew,” Joker sneered.

“Then what is there to say?” She looked up at us defiantly.

“Well if you got nothing to share making yourself useful then we can just end it right here and now.
